Frequently asked
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Please come with your curls down, dry, clean & detangled (washed within 1-2 days of your appointment or freshly washed morning of your appointment). Use product if it significantly affects the way your curls curl up. We want to see what you see. Please don’t come in with your hair pulled back, straightened or wet- we will need to reschedule if we aren’t able to see your curls.
How soon can I expect to find an appointment?
We usually have openings within 2 weeks.
If I have been to see another curl specialist do I still need to book a New Client appointment?
Yes. All curl specialists are trained differently and therefore do not always cut and style curly hair the same way… because of this we like to make sure we give you and your curls the adequate amount of time for your appointment incase your curls need some extra love.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can find our cancellation policy on our Policies page.
We require 48 hours notice before the appointment to cancel your appointment without a cancellation fee. This means 48 hours BEFORE your scheduled appointment date… i.e. if your appointment is in on June 15th you need to cancel by June 13th.
No Shows and cancellations with less that 48 hours notice will result in a fee which is 50% of the scheduled service.
Do you cut men’s curly hair too?
Yes, we definitely do! Our curly cuts are designed for ANYONE with curly hair. They are not specific to any one gender.
Does pricing change depending on the stylist?
Yes, all of our stylists have different levels of experience, education and certifications which affect the price. Our pricing is noted on the service when you book.
What product lines do you carry?
Our main product line of choice is Innersense Organic Beauty. You can find more information on their products on their website: Innersensebeauty.com.
Will every appointment be the same price as the new client appointments?
No, because we spend significantly more time creating a shape and educating, new client appointments are reserved for longer times. On your returning appointment, the time is shorter because you already have your basic shape & styling foundation. We will still go through anything you have questions you may have. Our returning cuts can range anywhere between $70-$155. You can also find this information on our Service Menu.
